On Friday 5 January 2024, Tennyson Street Mosque hosted the South African Jews for a Free Palestine’s Shabbos Against Genocide in Palestine. The event was also supported by the Healthcare Workers for Palestine and Palestine Solidarity Campaign – Cape Town.
We gathered as an interfaith community through mourning, prayer, candle lighting and breaking bread with one another in solidarity for peace and justice for all in historic Palestine.
