Online talk: Repression of Palestinian solidarity in the global North

April 21 @ 6:00 pm7:30 pm

South African Jews for a Free Palestine invites you to an online talk

During Israel’s genocide in Gaza, there has been an unprecedented crackdown on Palestinian solidarity in England, Germany and elsewhere in the global North. In this event, we will hear from anti-Zionist Jews who are currently facing persecution, and learn how this connects with a history of colonial fascism and the resurgence of authoritarianism in Europe.

Tony Greenstein is the author of Zionism During the Holocaust and The Fight Against Fascism in Brighton & the South Coast. He is currently under a 9 month suspended prison sentence for participating in Palestine Action’s attacks on Israel’s Elbit Factories, and was arrested just before Christmas by the anti-terrorism police for a tweet.

Wieland Hoban is a composer, translator and chair of the organisation “Jüdische Stimme [Jewish Voices], which co-organised the recent Palestinian Conference in Berlin that was shut down by police.
