South African Jews for a Free Palestine has welcomed the government’s application to the International Court of Justice against Israel’s continuous bombardment of Gaza. Late last year, the South African government filed an application for the ICJ to begin proceedings to declare that Jerusalem was violating its obligations under the 1948 Genocide Convention in its war against Hamas.
